Mr. Terry Waite, CBE
The AWS October General Meeting Tuesday, October 12th 9:00am-12:00pm
In January 1987, Terry Waite was captured in Beirut while attempting to secure the release of Western hostages. The first four years he was kept in solitary confinement. He was a hostage for 1763 days before his release.
Mr. Waite has traveled the world recounting his unimaginable experiences of his time in captivity. His story is one of triumphs over adversities, of healing, and of surviving life’s challenges. His honesty, straightforward manner and sense of humor, will inspire us all. A book signing will take place after the presentation. And as always, refreshments, vendors & a free crèche
